芸能界に入ったきっかけを教えて下さい

14歳の時、「JUNON ガールズコンテスト」に出場したのがきっかけです。 中学卒業と同時に名古屋から上京しました。 デビューが16歳なので、東京での生活もだいぶ長くなりましたね。

What inspired you to enter the entertainment industry?

When I was 14, I participated in the "JUNON Girls Contest," which kickstarted my career. I moved from Nagoya to Tokyo right after graduating from junior high school. I've been living in Tokyo for quite a while now since I debuted at 16.

何故コンテストに出場したのですか

友人に勧められました。 家族も友達も応援してくれたのでスムーズに芸能界に入りました。

Why did you participate in the contest?

A friend recommended it to me. My family and friends supported me, which made it easy to enter the entertainment industry smoothly.

紗弥さんは芝居経験もありますね

女優は私にとって凄く大変な仕事でした。 正解はないし、出口のない暗闇を走り続けている時もありました。 ただ、芝居は好きだし昔からやりたかった事なので、 どちらに走ればいいのかわからない状態でしたが続けられました。 これからモデルのキャリアを築く中で、女優の経験は絶対にプラスになると思います。 いつか「あの頃があって良かった」と感じる日が来ると思っていますし。

Saya, you have acting experience as well.

Acting was a very challenging job for me. There is no right answer, and sometimes it felt like I was running through an endless dark tunnel. However, I love acting and have wanted to do it for a long time, so even though I didn't always know which direction to take, I was able to continue. I believe that my experience as an actress will definitely be a plus in building my modeling career. I think there will come a day when I'll feel grateful for those times.

モデルに転身しようと思った理由は

子供の頃の夢はファッションモデルでした。 「nicola」とか「Seventeen」を愛読していた影響もあるのかもしれませんね。 ファッションは昔から好きです。

Why did you decide to transition to modeling?

My childhood dream was to become a fashion model. I might have been influenced by my love for magazines like "Nicola" and "Seventeen." I've always liked fashion.

これまでの経験はモデルに活かせますか

根底にある表現の部分は、モデルにも通じるのではないでしょうか。 とはいえ、これまでとは違う部分も沢山あると思うので、 マネージャーと一緒に自分の強みを活かしていきたいです。

Can you apply your past experiences to modeling?

I believe the fundamental aspect of expression is relevant to modeling as well. However, there are many differences, so I want to work with my manager to leverage my strengths.

NMT inc.に移籍した理由を教えて下さい

事務所の青野 楓さんが、「ここの事務所凄く良いよ！」と勧めてくれました。 楓さんの紹介で社長やマネージャー全員と面接したのですが、あの時は緊張したなぁ（笑）。 事務所とは毎日連絡をとっていますし、とてもアットホームな事務所だと思っています。

Why did you transfer to NMT inc.?

Aono Kaede from the agency recommended it to me, saying, "This agency is really great!" Thanks to her introduction, I had an interview with the president and all the managers, and I was quite nervous. I think the agency is very homey since we keep in touch every day.

今後やりたい仕事はありますか

ビューティーの仕事は是非やってみたいですね。 化粧品関係の撮影はモデルにとって憧れの仕事ではないでしょうか。 それと、カルチャー系のブランドにも携わりたいです。 イラストを描くのが趣味なので、 クリエイティブな仕事もやりたいと思っています。 いつかイラストを絡めた案件にもトライしてみたいです。

What kind of work do you want to do in the future?

I'd love to do beauty-related work. Shooting for cosmetics is a dream job for many models. Also, I'd like to be involved with culture-oriented brands. I enjoy drawing illustrations, so I want to take on creative work. Someday, I'd like to try projects that involve my illustrations.

仕事に対するこだわりを教えて下さい

仕事に関しては、やりたいことが明確にあります。 「これやりたい！」「こうしよう！」とか。 だから、オーディションに落ちた時は結構落ち込みます（笑）。 目指すモデル像や憧れに邁進するというより、 自分がやりたい事にチャレンジしていきたいです。

What is your approach to work?

When it comes to work, I have clear goals. Like, "I want to do this!" or "Let's do it this way!" So, I feel quite down when I fail an audition. Rather than pursuing an ideal model image or admiration, I want to challenge myself with what I want to do.

最後に意気込みをお願いします

必ずどこかで誰かが見てくれていると思っています。 「NMT inc.と言えば、三上紗弥」と言われる存在になれるよう頑張ります。

Finally, can you share your aspirations?

I believe that someone is always watching. I will work hard to become someone who is synonymous with NMT inc. and is recognized as "Mikami Saya."
