モデルを始めたきっかけを教えて下さい

大学時代にモデルを目指して事務所を受けていた際、当時の事務所に声を掛けて頂きました。

What made you decide to become a model?

During my university years, I was aspiring to become a model and had been approaching agencies. One day, my current agency noticed me and offered me a chance.

卒業後モデルを続けようと思った理由は

当初は好奇心が勝って、正直プロ意識はそこまでなかったんです。 でも、卒業のタイミングで今後の進路を考えた時、好きな事を責任を持ってやって行こうと決めました。 親には「自分で決断して、実現する為にどう行動するか」を教わりました。 型にハマらない友人も多かったので、その影響もあるかも知れません。

Why did you decide to continue modeling after graduation?

Initially, it was more out of curiosity than anything else; I didn’t have a strong sense of professionalism. However, when it came time to decide on my future at graduation, I chose to pursue what I loved with a sense of responsibility. My parents taught me to make my own decisions and act on them. Many of my friends also didn’t fit the mold, which might have influenced me.

仕事をする上で譲れない事はありますか

良いパフォーマンスをするのは当然です。 その上で、充実した撮影にするにはどうしたら良いかを考えています。 スタッフさんに、「倉松と一緒に撮影して良かった」と思って頂けたら最高ですね。 あとは、意見を求められる場面ではポジティブな言い方を心掛けたり、 ポージングを通じて「そんな表現もありだね」と思って頂けるよう常にチャレンジしています。

What’s non-negotiable for you in your work?

Delivering a good performance is a given. Beyond that, I think about how to make the shoot fulfilling for everyone involved. It’s the best when the staff feel, "I’m glad we worked with Kuramatsu." Additionally, when asked for my opinion, I try to respond positively and continuously challenge myself to bring fresh expressions through my poses.

ポジティブに行動できるのは素敵ですね

勿論、浮き沈みはありますけどね（笑）。 私は悩む時間も大事にしています。変に決断を急がないというか。 悩むプロセスを大切にする事で自分と向き合えますし、ポジティブに動けるんです。 そうすると、上手く行かない時でもそれを補ってくれる素敵な出来事が起きたり、ご縁にも恵まれたりして。 私は凄く運がいいなと思っています（笑）。 NMT inc.との出会いも大切なご縁の一つです。

It's wonderful that you can act positively.

Of course, I have my ups and downs. I also value the time spent worrying. I don’t rush my decisions. By valuing the process of contemplating, I can face myself and act positively. Even when things don’t go well, wonderful things happen, or I’m blessed with good connections. I feel incredibly lucky. Meeting NMT inc. is one of those precious connections.

NMT inc.に所属した理由を教えて下さい

モデルとして成長する上で、殻を破りたいとずっと思っていました。 厳しい事務所だと聞いていましたが、実現したい目標に向かって背中を押してくれる環境だと思います。 マネージャーと仲が良いだけでなく、きちんと改善点を指摘してくれるのでモチベーションが上がりますし、 所属モデル達も仕事に対しての意識が高いので良い刺激になっていますね。

Why did you decide to join NMT inc.?

I’ve always wanted to break out of my shell as a model. Although I heard it’s a strict agency, I believe it’s an environment that pushes you towards achieving your goals. My manager is not only friendly but also points out areas for improvement, which boosts my motivation. The other models in the agency are highly dedicated to their work, providing great inspiration.

どんな時に仕事のやりがいを感じますか

反響があった時ですね。 自分本位ではなく、周りにどう求められているかを理解する事が大切だと思っています。 その感覚が一致した時、とてもやりがいを感じます。 それから、仕事を通じて誰かの活力になれたら嬉しいですね。 連載中のチョコレートのコラムもその一つ。 体型維持をしながら、チョコレートを楽しめるヒントを発信できたらと思っています。

When do you feel the most rewarded in your work?

When I receive feedback. It’s important to understand what others expect from you, not just being self-centered. When that perception aligns, I feel immensely rewarded. It’s also fulfilling to energize someone through my work. One example is my ongoing chocolate column, where I share tips on enjoying chocolate while maintaining a healthy figure.

すみれさんにとっての美しさとは

飾らない美しさです。 ナチュラルな美は私の目標。 その為にも自己肯定感が大切だと思います。 誰かを基準に頑張るより、欠点も含めた自分を愛せるかどうか。 人と比べている時って、あまり幸せじゃないと思うんですよね。 だから、自分が納得した物を選んでいきたいんです。 仕事も同じで、一つ一つ納得するまで最大限の力を発揮する事を心掛けています。

What does beauty mean to you?

Unadorned beauty. Natural beauty is my goal. For that, self-esteem is crucial. It’s about loving yourself, including your flaws, rather than striving based on someone else’s standards. Comparing yourself to others doesn’t bring happiness. Therefore, I want to choose things that I am satisfied with. The same goes for work; I strive to give my best until I’m satisfied with each task.

最後に、今後のビジョンを教えて下さい

ライフスタイルを含め、内面から美しいモデルを目指しています。 美の本質は見た目だけでなく、生活に根付いたその人の感性が大切だと仕事を通じて気付きました。 理想を実現する為には、自分を肯定する力が必要です。 例えば、体型維持も自分を肯定する事でプラスに働きます。 今後も自分の気持ちに素直に、それぞれの仕事に向き合って行きたいと思います。

Lastly, what is your vision for the future?

I aim to be a model who embodies beauty from within, including lifestyle. Through my work, I’ve realized that true beauty isn’t just about appearance but also about the innate sensibility rooted in one’s life. To achieve my ideals, self-affirmation is essential. For example, maintaining a healthy body works positively when you affirm yourself. Moving forward, I want to stay true to my feelings and face each job with sincerity.
