モデルに興味を持ったきっかけは

大学１年生の時に、サロンモデルとしてお声がけ頂きました。 最初は戸惑ったけれど、新しい経験が出来ればと思い始めました。 やっているうちにどんどん楽しくなってきて、本格的にモデルを始める事にしたんです。

What got you interested in modeling?

When I was a freshman in college, I was invited to work as a salon model. At first, I was hesitant, but I decided to give it a try for the new experience. As I continued, I found it more and more enjoyable and decided to pursue modeling seriously.

何故、NMT inc.を選んだのですか

もっとモデルとして頑張りたくて移籍しました。 色々なお仕事をしたいし、本物の世界をしっかり体験したいと思いました。

Why did you choose NMT inc.?

I wanted to push myself further as a model, so I transferred to NMT inc. I wanted to take on various jobs and experience the real world of modeling.

イラストレーターとしての顔もありますが、イラストのインスピレーションはどこから受けているのですか

どこからって決まっているわけではなく、結構思いつきが多いかな。 極端な話、思いつかなかったら全く描かない時もあります。 先月展示会に参加した時も、締め切り前夜に突然思いついて描きました（笑）。

As an illustrator, where do you get your inspiration for your illustrations?

There's no specific source of inspiration; it's often just spontaneous ideas. To be honest, if nothing comes to mind, I simply don't draw. Even when I participated in an exhibition last month, I only started drawing the night before the deadline because I suddenly got an idea.

思いつかない時、焦ったりしませんか

いつか思いつくと信じているので焦ったりはしないです。 この間も「やっぱり降りてきたな」とスッキリした気持ちで描けました。 完成した作品はいつもより抽象的になったけれど、新たな自分に出会えて嬉しかったですね。 イラストに関しては「心がハッピーならそれで良し」と言うスタンスで今後もやっていきます。

Do you ever feel anxious when ideas don't come to you?

I believe that ideas will come eventually, so I don't feel anxious. Recently, I felt a rush of inspiration and was able to draw with a clear mind. The finished piece was more abstract than usual, but I was happy to discover a new side of myself. When it comes to illustrations, my approach is, "As long as my heart is happy, it's all good."

ゆるさもありつつ、芯はしっかりですね

この間、友人から「真面目な能天気」と言われました（笑）。 あんまり自覚はなかったけれど、「そうかも」と妙に納得しました。 今のゆるい自分があるのは、昔のバレエの経験がいい意味で活きているのかな。

You seem to have a relaxed yet determined attitude.

A friend recently called me "seriously carefree". I didn't really see it that way, but I kind of agree. My current relaxed self might be thanks to my past experience in ballet.

バレエをやっていたんですね

コンクールに出場するぐらい頑張っていました。 今思えば、かなり自分を追い込んだ日々を過ごしていましたね。 だけど、高校に入学するタイミングでキッパリ諦めました。 いざ辞めてしまうとかなり辛かったけれど、もっと広い世界を見てみたくて。

You did ballet?

Yes, I worked hard enough to compete in contests. Looking back, those were some very intense days. But when I started high school, I decided to quit. It was quite tough, but I wanted to see a broader world.

バレエを辞めた後は何をしたんですか

父がファッションデザイナーなので、デザインを勉強したいと思いました。

What did you do after quitting ballet?

My father is a fashion designer, so I decided to study design.

普段どの様にアンテナを張っていますか

面白そうと思ったものは、とにかく実践しています。 SNSの投稿は学生時代にアパレルのプレスのバイトをしていたので自然と身につきました。 あと、フォロワー数に関係なく様々なアカウントをチェックしています。 「いいね」をしてくれた方のアカウントに飛んで、お洒落だなと思ったコンテンツを参考にしたり。

How do you keep yourself informed and inspired on a daily basis?

I try out anything that seems interesting. I naturally picked up posting on social media while working part-time in apparel PR during my student days. I also check various accounts regardless of follower count. If someone likes my post, I'll visit their account and take note of any stylish content.

今、気になっていることはありますか

モデルやインフルエンサーが、ブランドを立ち上げてから軌道に乗せるまでどうやっているのか気になります。 忙しいはずなのに、どうやっているのだろうかと。 私も将来的にはそんなお仕事ができたら嬉しいです。

Is there anything you're particularly interested in right now?

I'm curious about how models and influencers manage to start and establish their brands. They must be busy, so I wonder how they do it. I would love to work on something like that in the future.

最後に、今後の意気込みをお願いします

何でも楽しいと思える性格なので、これからの新しい出会いや発見にわくわくしています。 ファッションや広告の撮影は勿論、MVのお仕事にもチャレンジしたいです。 目標を達成できるように頑張ります。

Finally, what are your goals moving forward?

I'm someone who finds joy in everything, so I'm excited about new encounters and discoveries. Besides fashion and commercial shoots, I want to challenge myself with music video work. I'll do my best to achieve my goals.
